Refund & Cancellation Policy
How We Handle Refunds at Rummy Mate
We want your gaming experience to be fair, fun, and hassle-free. Because 13-card rummy is a real-time digital game played against other live players, how refunds work depends on what stage of the game you are in.
Here is our clear and honest policy on table cancellations, technical disruptions, and payment issues.
1. Leaving Before a Game Starts
If you join a game table or tournament waiting lobby but decide to leave before the countdown ends and before any cards are dealt:
- 100% Instant Refund: Your entire entry fee or chip buy-in will be returned to your gaming wallet instantly.
- No penalty points or cancellation fees will be charged.
2. Leaving After Cards Have Been Dealt
Once the round begins and cards have been dealt out to your hand:
- You cannot simply cancel the match, because other players at the table have already committed their time and cards to the round.
- If you choose to leave or close your app during an active round, it will count as a Drop under standard rummy rules (First Drop penalty if on your very first turn without picking a card, or Middle Drop penalty if you leave later).
- Any remaining chips after the drop penalty will stay safe in your account.
3. Platform Technical Glitches & Server Crashes
We work hard to maintain fast and stable servers, but technology can sometimes glitch. If a match gets interrupted because our server went down or encountered an unexpected system error:
- Automatic Chip Return: The round is declared null and void. All entry fees and chips placed on that table are credited back to each player's wallet balance within 24 hours.
- Personal Internet Disconnections: Please note that if your own mobile data or Wi-Fi drops out while the server is running fine, the game system gives you an auto-play grace timer to reconnect. If you cannot get back in time, the system performs an auto-drop to protect your chips from maximum point loss.
4. Deposits Debited but Not Credited
Sometimes when adding cash through UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, or Net Banking, your bank account shows that money was debited, but your Rummy Mate balance has not updated yet.
Do not worry! In 99% of these cases, the banking gateway automatically settles the pending status within 24 to 48 hours. If your balance still does not show the deposit after 24 hours:
- Snap a quick screenshot of your bank confirmation showing the 12-digit UTR payment code.
- Drop our billing team a message at support@rummymate.in.net mentioning your player phone number.
- Our billing crew will check with the payment gateway and update your chips or guide you on the bank reversal.
5. Account Closure & Final Cashout
If you ever want to stop playing and close your Rummy Mate account permanently, you can withdraw your entire withdrawable cash balance:
- Complete your standard one-time KYC verification (Aadhaar & PAN).
- Submit your withdrawal request to your linked bank account or UPI ID.
- Once processed, email our support desk to permanently deactivate your profile and delete your personal data.
